LIMEADE

I love a cold refreshing Limeade.

Requiring only three ingredients, this recipe is very easy to make.

The Limeade itself can stand alone or be used to make a variety of mixed drinks.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 CUP HOT WATER
  • 1 CUP SWEETENER OF CHOICE
  • 1 CUP LIME JUICE
  • 4 CUPS COLD WATER
  1. In a half gallon container, combine the Hot Water and Sweetener first, stirring well until the Sweetener is fully dissolved.
  2. Add the Lime Juice and Cold Water to the container, stirring well.

The recipe creates 7 cups of Limeade. Stored in an airtight container, the Limeade will last for 5 to 7 days in the fridge.

For this recipe, I use Key Lime Juice and my sweetener of choice is always Xylitol.

Feel free to tweak the recipe to your tastes.

Containing anti-inflammatory foods this tasty beverage is part of my beneficial diet. Those anti-inflammatory foods being the Lime Juice and (at least for me) the Xylitol.

I love this Limeade and I hope you do too. Feel free to check out my other recipes.

Happy Cooking, Happy Living.
