This piece was created in support of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women (MMIW) Awareness. The red handprint is a symbol of solidarity with these stolen sisters.
Native and Indigenous women are up to 10 times more likely to be murdered or sexually assaulted, and these cases are more often ignored or downplayed by the news and law enforcement. This must stop.
